Bobby Lashley has been unstoppable inside the Bellator cage.

The part-time professional wrestler continued his successful foray into MMA with a dominant performance over Josh Appelt in the co-main event of Bellator 162 on Friday in Memphis.

Lashley took Appelt down with ease, pounding away at his overwhelmed foe until Appelt gave up his back and submitted to a rear-naked choke in the second round.

With the win, Lashley improves his Bellator record to 5-0, and he has claimed victory in his past eight fights.

Postmatch, Lashley expressed his desire to take part in the promotion's upcoming tournament for the vacant heavyweight championship.
