Mike Perry's fantastic UFC debut has been overshadowed by his team's regrettable behavior.
The Octagon newcomer made a poor showing at Friday's weigh-ins when he taunted opponent Hyun Gyu Lim with a fake handshake, but that silly incident became a footnote when Perry put on an impressive showing at UFC 202 the next night, knocking out Lim in the first round.
Sadly, Perry's corner could be in hot water after audio surfaced Sunday of his teammates making racist comments about Lim, a Korean.
"He can't even open his motherf---ing eyes," one of the corner men can be heard saying.
Perry himself isn't heard uttering or acknowledging the comments, but his team can expect a call from the UFC soon.
