Report: Garbrandt involved in altercation with Almeida's team

Two days out from the UFC's next event, the fisticuffs have apparently already started.
Cody Garbrandt told ESPN's Brett Okamoto that he was involved in a physical confrontation with associates of his UFC Fight Night 88 opponent Thomas Almeida on Thursday at his hotel in Las Vegas. Garbrandt said security broke up the fight quickly.
The two bantamweights are scheduled for the main event Sunday. A tweet Garbrandt posted Thursday night seems to indicate he was prepared to take out of his aggression on Almeida's teammates if the situation hadn't de-escalated:
