Jones, Cormier trade harsh words at 'Good Morning America' taping
(Warning: contains explicit language)
The positive vibes of "Good Morning America" did little to quell the animosity between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones.
As documented on an episode of "UFC Embedded" dedicated to the organization's UFC 200 promotional tour, an ugly scene occurred Wednesday between the two light heavyweight stars during a break in filming.
Cormier is seen referring to Jones as "light work" while criticizing his win over Ovince Saint Preux at UFC 197. The tension carries over to the stage, where they snipe at each other with their fellow UFC personalities between them.
At one point, Jones tells Cormier to "shut the f--- up," while Cormier repeatedly calls Jones "a bum."
Cormier and Jones were eventually separated by PR representatives, but the buildup to their main event bout at UFC 200 is well under way.
