Piatti made his mark early in this season-opening match against the Vancouver Whitecaps, rounding four defenders with his impressive footwork. Then, like Arjen Robben on the prowl, Piatti slowly crept closer and closer to the middle of the box, before unleashing a screamer of a shot with tremendous pace into the bottom corner of the goal.
Someone get the fire extinguisher.
