Matt Miazga: Won't be loaned out by Chelsea
Miazga will not be loaned out by Chelsea after he joins the club this month. "He will be one of the squad members for the rest of the season," manager Guus Hiddink said Friday. "A young guy stepping up to the national team, and if you have young players you can see what they are capable of in training."
Analysis:
Miazga has not officially signed with Chelsea yet, though it is expected to be completely in the coming days after transferring from the New York Red Bulls. Miazga is one of the top American prospects, and while he will get a chance to be with Chelsea's first team, it'll be very tough for him to get regular playing time ahead of Kurt Zouma, Jason Terry or, to a lesser extent, Gary Cahill.
