New York Red Bulls defender Damien Perrinelle had his day cut short after the French central defender was stretchered off the field five minutes into the second half.

Perrinelle landed awkwardly following a 50-50 challenge with Alvaro Saborio and clutched his left knee, looking visibly in pain. He was immediately taken out of the match, with Ronald Zubar coming on in his stead.
