Spanish striker Raul made his first appearance as a member of the New York Cosmos on Tuesday as the club unveiled its star signing.
The North American Soccer League club announced the signing in October, seven months after Raul said he would retire from football following two seasons with Al Sadd of the Qatar Stars League.
The striker also got some love from Brazilian soccer legend Pele, who also spent the twilight years of his career with the Cosmos in the 1970's.
