Sporting Kansas City clinched a playoff spot on Friday night, emerging with a 2-0 win over the Chicago Fire at Sporting Park.
The match appeared to be heading towards a draw, but then, in the 80th minute, Graham Zusi stepped up to ensure that his side didn't have to wait any longer to book their place in the postseason.
After receiving a pass from Kevin Ellis on the right flank, Zusi took advantage of the space awarded to him, cut in with two touches, and unleashed a left-footed screamer from roughly 20 yards out.
Zusi's strike marked his fifth goal of the season.
