There's an epidemic in football that's impacting a player's ability to comfortably convert from close-range.
Whether it's an elite player like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, or a relatively unknown one like Philipp Hofmann from the Bundesliga, it appears no one is safe when it comes to candidates for the worst miss of all time.
Now Bernardo Añor of the Columbus Crew can throw his hat into the ring after this embarrassing miss during his team's Major League Soccer match against the Montreal Impact on Saturday.

Luckily for Añor, his shot off the post proved inconsequential as the Crew went on to record a 2-0 victory.
