Philadelphia and Orlando City became the first two teams to reach the knockout stage of the MLS is Back Tournament, as the Union's 2-1 victory over Inter Miami on Tuesday wrapped up the top two spots in Group A.

Orlando did its part by beating New York City FC earlier in the evening, as both clubs maintained their perfect start to the competition after two matches.

They'll lock horns next week to determine which side finishes first in the group, before turning their attention to the round of 16.

Philadelphia took all three points at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex courtesy of goals from Kai Wagner and Kacper Przybylko. The defender notched his first career MLS goal in the fifth minute, while the imposing striker netted the winner by capping off a stunning second-half counterattack.

The slick tally was Przybylko's 16th with the Union and the first he's scored from outside the penalty area in his MLS career.

Rodolfo Pizarro, Inter Miami's big-money Designated Player, leveled proceedings in the 36th minute before Przybylko's winner.

The expansion franchise remains winless through four matches of the interrupted 2020 campaign. Diego Alonso's team is yet to score more than one goal in a game this season, and becomes just the second expansion side in MLS history to record zero points after its opening four matches; Toronto FC accomplished the same unfortunate feat in 2007.

Inter Miami close out the group stage with a clash against NYCFC - who have also lost all four matches this year - and still have a chance at reaching the knockout stage of the tournament as one of the best third-place teams.
