Major League Soccer has revealed the 27 players it will choose from to represent the league against Serie A champion Juventus on August 1.

All-Star Game host Atlanta United had six players voted in by fans, including Josef Martinez, who leads the league in scoring with 14 goals. Defending champion Toronto FC will be represented solely by former Bianconeri forward Sebastian Giovinco.

Along with the 11 voted in by fans, Atlanta's head coach Gerardo Martinez made 14 picks of his own, while commissioner Don Garber contributed two votes: New York Red Bulls forward Bradley Wright-Phillips, and Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder and Canadian international Alphonso Davies.

Three names of the 27 will be cut at a later date, trimming the roster for the match down to 24 players.

The MLS All-Stars lost on penalties to Real Madrid in last year's summer spectacle after both teams tied 1-1 in regulation.
