Toronto FC's steadfast leader at center-back, Drew Moor, has re-signed with the club for the 2018 season, as the 33-year-old penned a one-year extension that also includes a team option for the 2019 campaign.

Moor made 34 appearances in all competitions for the Reds this past season, as he and his teammates took MLS by storm. Toronto FC captured the first domestic treble in league history by winning the MLS Cup, the Supporters' Shield, and the Canadian Championship. Moor will now return to defend all three of those trophies, along with contending for the CONCACAF Champions League title.

"Few words can express what it means to me and my family to continue representing Toronto FC," Moor said in a club-issued statement. "We have experienced a lot of special moments both on and off the field in Toronto, the club has given us so much these past two years and there is nowhere else we'd want to be.

"I can't wait to get back to work with my teammates, coaches, and staff ahead of the 2018 season as we defend our MLS Cup championship."

Moor became a free agent at the end of the 2017 season, but chose to remain with the Reds despite being allowed to negotiate with any other club in MLS. He'll enter his 14th season in the league, having plied his trade with FC Dallas and the Colorado Rapids before joining Toronto FC in 2016.
