Sporting KC's Opara lashes out after MLS All-Star snub

Sporting Kansas City defender Ike Opara didn't sugarcoat his feelings after learning that he didn't make the MLS All-Star team that will face Real Madrid later this month in Chicago.
While most players omitted from the friendly tend to stay quiet, the 28-year-old - who is recovering from a concussion that he suffered during Sporting KC's last match against FC Dallas - seemingly couldn't help but point out the oversight when he took to Twitter on Tuesday:
Whether or not he would have been able to feature in the match on August 2 is another story. Opara was diagnosed with a Grade 3 concussion following an incident on July 11 when he was the victim of a kick to the head while attempting to clear the ball.
