Watch: Techera volley finishes silky smooth Whitecaps attack

Cristian Techera notched his third goal of the season in fine fashion Saturday, finishing off a lovely bit of attacking play started at the back by Kendall Waston to open the scoring against Sporting Kansas City.

Waston picked Sheanon Williams out wide on the right with a long cross, and Williams served the ball into the box for Christian Bolanos to chest toward Techera. The 24-year-old attacker then applied the perfect rotating volley hit to round off the attack and give his team a lead five minutes from half-time.

Not too shabby.
