The Canadian striker scored Orlando City's first-ever goal at its new home, Orlando City Stadium, converting off a Giles Barnes cross and beating New York City FC goalkeeper Sean Johnson at the near post.
It was timed perfectly, too, as the Lions had just suffered the loss of Kaka, who left the match at the 11-minute mark with an apparent left hamstring injury. But, it also proved the game winner, giving Orlando a win at home to celebrate, too.
