Jurgen Klinsmann has selected LA Galaxy forward Alan Gordon to replace the injured Jordan Morris on the U.S. roster ahead of its crucial World Cup qualifying encounter with Mexico, according to the United States Soccer Federation.
Morris was ruled out after straining his hamstring during the Seattle Sounders' Western Conference semifinal victory over FC Dallas on Sunday.
Gordon is expected to join his teammates in Columbus before Friday's matchup with Mexico.
The 35-year-old forward has previously won two international caps.
