Pirlo, Lampard return to starting XI for Toronto FC clash

New York City FC will have its high-priced, veteran talent back on the field as it attempts to overturn a two-goal deficit against Toronto FC and reach the Eastern Conference final.
Andrea Pirlo, who missed the 2-0 first-leg loss last week with a calf injury, and Frank Lampard - whose omission from the lineup for that contest was a tactical decision by Patrick Vieira - will both be involved from the opening whistle in tonight's second leg at Yankee Stadium.
In search of goals, and some attacking support for star striker David Villa - who was woefully isolated in the first leg at BMO Field - Vieira has also inserted sublime goal merchant Tommy McNamara into the lineup.
