Giovinco's MVP snub has Twitter up in arms
Reuters
Sebastian Giovinco's chances of becoming the first player in Major League Soccer history to win two straight MVP awards are over after the Toronto FC star was excluded from this season's list of finalists Tuesday.
Following a campaign where the Italian led the league in production - 17 goals and 15 assists - Giovinco somehow ended up on the outside looking in when the league announced the three candidates up for the honor.
