Giovani dos Santos scores twice as Galaxy ease past Dynamo
Houston - Giovani dos Santos scored twice and the Los Angeles Galaxy beat the Houston Dynamo 4-1 on Friday night to extend their unbeaten streak to four games.
The Dynamo took an early lead when David Horst scored in the first minute, but it was all Los Angeles from there.
Dos Santos put away a long feed from Ashley Cole - that deflected off of Houston defender DaMarcus Beasley - about three minutes later to tie it.
Baggio Husidic scored in the 21st minute to put the Galaxy (3-1-2) in front, and dos Santos found the back of the net from the middle of the box, off a perfect ball from Steven Gerrard on the right flank, to make it 3-1 going into halftime.
Gyasi Zardes ran into a well-played cross from Sebastian Lletget and capped the scoring in the 49th minute with a rising shot to the upper-left corner.
Houston (1-3-2) is winless in its last four matches.
