Diamondbacks' Patrick Corbin: Beats Rockies for 13th win

Corbin (13-11) was charged with two runs (one earned) on two hits over 5.1 innings in a win over the Rockies on Saturday. He struck out four and issued three walks.

Analysis:

The lefty's now earned wins in five straight starts with a mere two earned runs allowed in that span (35.2 innings). He's gotten stronger as the season's progressed, which makes sense as he's further removed from Tommy John surgery. Corbin will have a great opportunity to continue this outstanding stretch with the Padres due up next.
