Gallardo and the Orioles had agreed to a three-year, $35 million contract last Saturday, but it's likely that will not stand following this news. Signing Gallardo means the Orioles would have to give up the 14th pick in this year's draft, so if he isn't fully healthy they may not be willing to take the risk.
