Broxton was part of three-player deal that sent Jason Rogers from the Brewers to the Pirates, while he and Trey Supak were dealt back to Milwaukee. The 25-year-old saw a small taste of the majors last season, but faces a clearer path to some playing time in Milwaukee than he did with the likes of Andrew McCutchen, Starling Marte and Gregory Polanco ahead of him in Pittsburgh.
