Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon announced Thursday his starters through Game 4 of the team's National League Division Series against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Game 1 starter Jon Lester will be followed by Kyle Hendricks in Game 2, and wild-card winner Jake Arrieta in Game 3. Maddon added that Jason Hammel will likely come out of the bullpen to start Game 4 if necessary, as Jason Motte is not yet ready to pitch due to a strained right shoulder.
The NLDS begins Friday night in St. Louis.
