Latos tosses 6 innings of 1-run ball in Dodgers debut
The Los Angeles Dodgers have been riding the duo of Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke all year long, but now they have another power arm to turn to.
Right-hander Mat Latos surrendered one run on four hits over six innings in his Dodgers debut Sunday against the Los Angeles Angels.
Latos was acquired from the Miami Marlins in a massive three-team, 13-player trade at the non-waiver trade deadline. He claimed only one strikeout victim on Sunday - Mike Trout - and left with a 2-1 lead.

"You don't see any fear in him at all, he's attacking guys, it doesn't matter if it's Trout or (Albert) Pujols," Latos' new manager Don Mattingly said postgame.
Latos took a no-decision in the contest, as the Dodgers rallied for a 5-3 victory courtesy of Andre Ethier's two-run walk-off homer in the 10th inning.
