Tommy Milone placed on 15-day DL with left flexor strain

Minnesota Twins pitcher Tommy Milone was placed on the 15-day DL Sunday with a left flexor strain, MLB.com's Rhett Bollinger reports.

Analysis:

Milone surrendered a season-worst 11 hits in his last start against the Mariners, and it looks like an injury may be partially to blame. He'll now get a couple weeks off to rest the ailment, while Tyler Duffey will be called upon to take his spot in the rotation Wednesday.
