Yankees to push Sabathia's next turn in the rotation from Sunday to Wednesday

CC Sabathia's next turn in the rotation will be pushed back from Sunday to Wednesday as the New York Yankees will have him work on things in the bullpen, Sweeny Murti of WFAN reports.

Analysis:

No immediate replacement for Sabathia was announced in conjunction with the news that he's getting pushed back, but Ivan Nova is available on regular rest if needed. Sabathia will match up against the A's at home Wednesday as a result of the schedule change.
