A few of his teammates noticed Rodriguez was tipping his pitches with runners on base, tucking his chin into his chest before throwing offspeed stuff out of the stretch. He slipped into that same behavior during Tuesday night's start, but was able to limit the damage, using his fastball to get out of trouble.
