The injuries continue to pile up for the Milwaukee Brewers.
Third baseman Hector Gomez left Wednesday's contest with the St. Louis Cardinals after a scary play in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Gomez fully committed to tracking a fly ball in foul territory and ran full speed into the third base stands attempting to make the catch, resulting in a faceplant.

Gomez appeared to hit his head on the play and eventually walked off the field under his own power. He was replaced by Luis Sardinas.
The Brewers are already dealing with injuries to Ryan Braun (thumb) and Khris Davis (knee).
