Cincinnati Reds right-hander Johnny Cueto received positive news from an MRI earlier this week that revealed no structural damage, but that doesn't mean he'll make his next scheduled start.

Manager Bryan Price announced Friday that the All-Star pitcher will not start Sunday, but he's expecting Cueto to pitch at some point during the team's three-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies starting Tuesday.

Cueto was scratched from his May 24 start with stiffness in his elbow, though the team did not believe it was serious.

A free agent at the end of the season, the 29-year-old is 3-4 with a 3.03 ERA and 60 strikeouts across nine starts this season. Cueto finished second in NL Cy Young voting in 2014.

Right-hander Michael Lorenzen will start Sunday in place of Cueto. The 23-year old is 1-1 with a 3.12 ERA in six appearances.
