Davis (quadriceps) will take batting practice on the field on Thursday, Joe Stiglich of Comcast SportsNet California reports.
Analysis:
This will be the first baseball activity Davis takes part in since being placed on the DL with a Grade 2 quad strain. Seeing as though it has already been 10 days since the injury, it's very possible Davis will remain out past 15 days, and Max Muncy and Mark Canha should see increased playing opportunities so long as Davis is inactive.
