Braves' Wood scratched from Friday's start with illness
Dale Zanine / USA TODAY Sports
Atlanta Braves left-hander Alex Wood has a stomach virus and will not start Friday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Analysis:
Eric Stults will instead get the ball on short notice, making the Brewers hitters a bit more intriguing in daily leagues. Make sure that Wood is not being used in daily lineups Friday, and fortunately there are plenty of other quality pitchers to choose from, although Stults probably does not qualify as one of them. Consider Wood questionable for his scheduled start next week.
