Bumgarner (3-1) picked up the win Monday, throwing 7.1 shutout innings while striking out six against the Padres.

Analysis:

Bumgarner actually carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning before Justin Upton broke it up. If he didn't have to pitch around four defensive errors, Bumgarner may have gone the distance. He has a 3.03 ERA, despite facing almost exclusively right-handed batters all season (141 of 150 at-bats against righties). Things aren't likely to change as the righty-heavy Marlins come into town this Saturday.
