St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jason Heyward exited Sunday's series finale against the Milwaukee Brewers with tightness in his left groin and is listed as day-to-day.
Heyward appeared to suffer the injury while making a play on Gerardo Parra's triple in the third inning.
The 25-year-old right fielder entered Sunday's contest riding a modest four-game hitting streak and was 0-for-2 prior to leaving the game.
Jon Jay replaced Heyward in the Cardinals lineup.
