VIDEO: Maxwell hits walk-off single in extras to lead Giants to sweep of Dodgers
Different day, same result.
The San Francisco Giants sent the Los Angeles Dodgers packing in walk-off fashion for the second consecutive game, and it was Justin Maxwell who played the role of hero Thursday.
Maxwell stroked an RBI single down the left-field line in the 10th inning to lead the Giants to a 3-2 win over the Dodgers.

Maxwell's clutch hit powered the Giants to a three-game sweep of the division-rival Dodgers and comes a day after Joe Panik hit a game-winning, walk-off sacrifice fly to lead San Francisco to an identical 3-2 win Wednesday.
Ryan Vogelsong threw six innings of two-run ball, while five Giants relievers blanked Los Angeles the rest of the way. Closer Santiago Casilla struck out Adrian Gonzalez with the bases loaded to preserve the 2-2 tie in the top half of the 10th before Maxwell hit the Giants to their first three-game winning streak of the season.
San Francisco begins a six-game road trip Friday against the Colorado Rockies.
