Analysis:
Hardy is almost certainly ruled out for Opening Day at this point and he could miss a good chunk of April with a shoulder injury. It is between Cabrera and Ryan Flaherty for the Opening Day job, but it looks like the Orioles are leaning toward Cabrera. Hardy figures to miss at least the first week of the season. Cabrera singled three times in Monday's game, but he has attempted just two steals this spring in 46 at-bats. If Cabrera is the starter, he could be the leadoff hitter or hit at the bottom of the order.
