Derek Holland has shoulder soreness but believes he will still be able to throw by Monday, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Holland's first spring start will be pushed back a day due to shoulder soreness, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis:
Holland was insistent to reporters that the shoulder wasn't a big deal, but you can't be too careful when it comes to a pitcher's shoulder. The 28-year-old has hit the DL with shoulder problems twice in his career and will carry the title of injury-prone until he strings together a few healthy seasons.
