Victor Martinez Martinez (knee) is expected to join the Detroit Tigers at spring training in approximately one week, Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Analysis:
Martinez is three weeks removed from surgery to repair a torn medial meniscus, and he still hopes to be ready by Opening Day. He'll be a couple of weeks behind his teammates at spring training, but he's should still see plenty of Grapefruit League action in March.
