Aoki is expected to step in as the Giants' everyday left fielder, Henry Shulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Analysis:
Aoki, who joined the reigning World Series champions on a one-year, $4 million deal, will spend the majority of his time in left, but manager Bruce Bochy said he also anticipates Aoki seeing time in both center and right field spelling Angel Pagan and Hunter Pence. Bochy also stated that Pagan will open spring training penciled into the leadoff spot, though there's a chance Aoki could take the position.
