Michael Wacha expects be 100 percent healthy for the 2015 campaign.

An MRI on the St. Louis Cardinals right-hander's throwing shoulder came back clean Sunday, reports USA TODAY's Stan McNeal.

Wacha - who suffered a stress reaction in his right shoulder last season - has already resumed a throwing program this winter, and appears poised to lock down a spot in the starting rotation.

The 23-year-old was limited to 19 starts, compiling a 5-6 record with a 3.20 ERA after a breakout rookie campaign in 2013.

Expect the Cardinals to play it safe with Wacha in spring training and closely monitor his ailing shoulder.
