The Tampa Bay Rays have avoided arbitration with right-hander Kevin Jepsen by agreeing to a one-year contract, reports Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times.
Jepsen, who was acquired from the Los Angeles Angels for Matt Joyce in December, will earn $3.025 million in 2015.
The 30-year-old posted a 2.63 ERA and 22 holds in 74 appearances.
