Marlins trade Casey McGehee to Giants

The Miami Marlins have traded third baseman Casey McGehee to the San Francisco Giants.
In return, the Marlins acquired minor-league pitchers Kendry Flores and Luis Castillo.
McGehee, who hit .287 with four home runs and 76 RBIs in 160 games for the Marlins, is arbitration-eligible for a final time this offseason and is projected to be awarded $3.5 million for his services next season.
McGehee, last year's NL Comeback Player of the Year, would help the Giants fill the void left by Pablo Sandoval.
The 32-year-old is now expendable after the Marlins acquired the versatile Martin Prado from the New York Yankees earlier on Friday.
