Legendary broadcaster Vin Scully had quite the scare Thursday.
While Christmas shopping today, Vin Scully lost his 1988 World Series ring. If you find it, please contact the Dodgers at (323) 224-1500.

Only nine minutes after calling out for help, the Dodgers' Twitter account halted the search:
Great news! Vin Scully's 1988 World Series ring has been found. (This was not a drill -- Vin thanks everyone for their concern.)

Scully apparently lost the ring (one of six in his collection) while shopping for meat at Costco. It was later found by his wife, Sandi, when she opened up a bag of ribs at their home.
The 87-year-old considers his call of Kirk Gibson's game-winning homer in the opener of the 1988 Fall Classic as one of his finest.
