Arizona reliever David Hernandez and the Diamondbacks have agreed to a $2-million deal that avoids arbitration, according to Nick Piecoro of AZ Central.
Hernandez missed the 2014 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery on his right elbow in April.
The 29-year-old struggled in 2013, throwing a career-low 62.1 innings with a 4.48 ERA.
He's due to become a free agent after next season.
