Morton had a decent 2014 campaign before landing on the disabled list with a variety of injuries, posting a 3.72 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in 26 starts. Even if he's ready by April, it seems as though he'll miss at least part of spring training, so the 31-year-old may not be ready by the start of the season.
