White Sox finalize 4-year, $46-million deal with David Robertson
The Chicago White Sox officially added one of the game's top relievers to their bullpen Wednesday, finalizing a four-year, $46-million contract with closer David Robertson, the team announced.

The 29-year-old was aggressively pursued by several other teams after notching 39 saves while posting a 3.08 ERA (2.68 FIP) in 63 appearances for the New York Yankees last season.
"David had an excellent 2014 season in the difficult role of replacing arguably the greatest closer in history in Mariano Rivera, and before that he established himself as one of the top setup men in the game," said general manager Rick Hahn.
Robertson, a seven-year veteran, is set to join a reconstituted bullpen that will also feature Zach Duke next season after the left-hander signed a three-year deal with the White Sox last month.
