Ike Davis: Traded To Oakland Sunday
Davis was traded to the Athletics on Sunday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Analysis:
Davis was moved for international slot money and will reportedly serve as organizational depth at first base. The A's already have Brandon Moss, Stephen Vogt and the newly-added Billy Butler as options at the position, meaning it could take multiple injuries for him to see significant time at first.
