Report: Astros, Presley agree to 1-year, $1-million deal; avoid arbitataion

The Houston Astros and outfielder Alex Presley have reportedly agreed on a one-year, $1-million deal, avoiding arbitration, according to Evan Drellich of the Houston Chronicle

Presley, who was selected off waivers from the Minnesota Twins at the end of March, appeared in 89 games for the Astros last season, hitting .244/.281/.346 with six home runs and 19 RBIs. 

In 321 career games over five seasons with three different teams, the 29-year-old owns a slash line of .259/.299/.395, while appearing at all three outfield positions. 

Presley earned $511,500 last season.
