Braves trade fired GM's son to Brewers
Dale Zanine / US PRESSWIRE
The Milwaukee Brewers traded right-hander Zach Quintana to the Atlanta Braves for outfielder Kyle Wren, the team announced Friday.
Quintana, the Brewers' third-round pick in the 2012 draft, went 4-5 with a 5.70 ERA for Single-A Wisconsin last season.
Wren, a 30th-round selection of the Cincinnati Reds in the 2012 draft, slashed .290/.350/.365 while splitting time between the Braves' High-A and Double-A affiliates in 2014.
Wren is also the son of recently-fired Braves general manager, Frank Wren.
