Rickie Weeks: Becomes A Free Agent
The Brewers have declined the $14.5 million option on Weeks, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Tom Haudricourt reports.
Analysis:
This is certainly not surprising, given how much his play has declined at the plate and in the field. He will probably need to move off second base in order to see regular at-bats on a team next season, but if he is willing to do so, the Brewers may look to bring him back on a lesser contract. His fantasy value for 2015 won't be clear until he signs.
